7th Grade

Today we went over the main ideas of the colonies and summarized ideas of the section 1. Then we read Section 2.
No Homework tonight.
Friday we will outline section 2 and watch a video on the 13 Colonies

8th Grade

Today we read Chapter 15 Section 1 and outlined the section.
Homework create 2 webs using the Compromise of 1850 and Wilmot Proviso as the main idea and add at least 4 details about each.
Thursday we will be working more on the tensions between the North and South and if time we will start reading section 2.
I have all test and quizzes entered in Gradebook, but I am still grading the project. Hopefully I will be able to get them back to you by the end of the week.

Today in class we read Chapter 3 Section 1 and completed an outline for the section independently and together.
Homework
Complete 5 webs of key figues and their roles: Sir Walter Raleigh, John Smith, John Rolfe, Powhatan, and Nathaniel Bacon.

Today you will be given a project about Slavery that will be due next week Thursday.

Project due ** Remember late projects will be given maximum half credit.

7th Grade
